This week has been a great week of learning! Kids are really becoming the experts on their states. Yesterday, the students shared all their findings with their classmates. Today, they'll share their findings with other 2nd grade classes. Don't forget, States Day for parents is coming up this Thursday, June 9 from 1:30-3:00pm. I'd like for the students to wear costumes that show their famous person's characteristics. (Although if you don't have anything at home, please do not go out and buy something just for this occasion!)

Spring Fair is Saturday, June 11 from 2-5pm. If you'd like to contribute beauty products for our Spring Fair basket, bring those in asap.

2nd grade picnic is Monday, June 13. It will be all day games, water games and we'll even have an ice cream sundae bar in the afternoon. If you'd like to help with set up/serving/clean up of the ice cream bar, please let me know. We could use your help from 1:30-3pm.
